I am like you, only maybe even more reticent, but you make an excellent case for taking a cold plunge. My son-in-law regularly sits in ice baths. But... well, maybe I'll turn the water to cold at the end of a shower instead. Maybe.
I salute you diving in when the water hits 72! I just…can't do New England beach swims. (Blame my Navy brat childhood spent in Hawaii, San Diego and Virginia Beach. Hot tub, anyone?
72 degrees...way too cold for me. I usually have to wait til August before I’ll go past my knees! The thought of even contemplating going into cold water makes me squirmish :) Thanks, as always, for the laughs.

I read that even an ice water facial has benefits if you want to try that!

Looks like you, Elisa, and I can just have a nice literary chat on the beach while the crazies go into the water:)
xoxo
Love that idea. Beach book club, anyone?
Love me a hot tub. Or even better, outdoor hot springs--my absolute favorite.
I’m with you, sister. I wish them well, from the warm, dry shore.
Love my beach chair!

Glad to give you a chuckle!
If this Miami girl can embrace cold water swims - anyone can!!
Any tips on how you managed that?
I guess I just dove in!!
